Hi There! I'm Meydad, an observant and analytical product designer zealous to solve hard, value-driven problems. I establish design processes and teams in design-less companies and position design as an essential force in turning visions into reality.

I've built consumer and business products as Head of Design at Roomer Travel and as Lead UX Designer at Jobcase. With optimistic personality and ability to engage in healthy conflicts, I drive fast turnarounds of ideas to final deployment.

2017 - present

In the past 5 years, I have had the great privelage of working on Google Ads. Fueling the free and open internet, enabling content and services for consumers globally and helping businesses achieve their goals.

I started my journey as an individual conributor overseeing multiple areas: Conversion tracking, Navigation, Billing and Responsive Search Ads; Continued to manage the App Ads team (3 designers), serving App developers; to leading the Platform Services UX design team (7 designers), overseeing Billing, MCC, Navigation, User Access & Security, Transperancy and Deals & Incentives, across Google Ads, DV360 and Search Ads 360.

2015 - 2017

Jobcase is the LinkedIn for blue-collar workers. It serves 60 Million members with 2 Million DAU's. As the Lead UX Designer of Jobcase (Responsive website and Jobcase Android App), I transformed Jobcase from a job board into a vibrant social network. Through profound product changes relying on Human Centric Design Principles, I was able to boost Jobcase's revenue and engagement.

2012 - 2015

Roomer is a C2C secondary marketplace for cancelled hotel rooms. As the first to join the founders, I built Roomer's marketplace from the ground up and drove an iterative design process through qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The journey from concept and prototypes to a fully functional product backed by investors and widely used by travelers has been a humbling and formative experience for me.
